Is Bungalo Taboga Beach House a hotel or an apartment building?

Bungalo Taboga Beach House will be a condominium licensed as an "aparthotel" by the Ministry of Tourism. It will offer guests (and owners when they are in-house) the services travelers expect from a boutique hotel, such as reception, maid service, concierge, tours and rooms service.

Where is the Beach Club and what will it offer?

The Beach Club is located less than 100 meters away on a separate lot. The Beach Club will have a pool, bar and restaurant. It will be available to all guests, owners and visitors who buy a day pass.

How will my Bungalo unit be managed?

Bungalo Taboga Beach House will be run as a hotel, with on-site management that handles arrivals, departures, maintenance, cleaning and concierge services. In order to maintain a consistent experience and image, all short term rentals must be handled by Bungalo's management through the Rental Program.  Owners who do not opt in to the Rental Program may choose to enjoy the hotel services for a monthly fee.

Are there restrictions on use of my Bungalo unit?

If you choose to enter the Rental Program, you may use your unit as much as you like. The $25 per night (per bedroom) occupancy fee (which covers the cost of all cleaning, restocking, and other services) is waived for the first 30 nights each year. See the Rental Program FAQs for more information.

Can I Airbnb my unit?

No. We believe what will make Bungalo special and valuable is that it is perceived as a boutique hotel, not as a mere apartment building with uneven guest experiences.

May I furnish my apartment?

All apartments come fully furnished, right down to the towels and coffee cups. They are ready to be rented. If your apartment is in the Rental Program, it has to stay with its original furniture in order to maintain a consistent experience for all guests (which protects the property values of all owners).

When will Bungalo Taboga Beach House be finished?

Construction is expected to start in October 2025 and take approximately 18 months.

What is Bungalo?

Bungalo is a new brand created by the founders and operators of Las Clementinas in Casco Viejo.

What is the best time of year to visit Taboga?

What is there to do on Taboga?

Taboga charming streets and winding nature trails are its best features. It is also the best starting point for exploring the Pearl Islands archipelago.
